How to use a masculine male condom?
Condom has to be put in place before any vaginal contact.
Adequate lubrication is necessary. Inadequate lubrication increases the risk of condom damage. You can use a water-based lubricant. Vaseline and any other greasy substances can damage the condom. When you use one, always ask your pharmacist if it can damage the condom’s membrane.
For added sensation, apply a dab of lubricant inside the tip of the condom.
The condom must be put in place when the penis is erect.
If the condom does not have a reservoir, leave one to two cm of free space at the end of the penis, enough to contain the sperm.
After intercourse, the condom should be removed while the penis is still erect.
If the condom breaks during intercourse, immediately apply an emergency method, to reduce the risk of pregnancy. Also, speak to your physician or pharmacist about the risk of pregnancy and STD or to obtain emergency oral contraception.
